Commissioned to create signature artwork that would be used as visual way-finding at each main elevator lobby and adjacent corridor wall.

The challenge was to use plant life of the Colorado National Monument, coming up with something contemporary “according to the designer) that isn’t just another picture of a flower. The art needed to be “real” so people can identify with them, “striking” so that people remember them, and “special”, not ordinary.  A small piece would be installed with the directory as one exits the elevator, and then diptychs and triptychs would be immediately to your right or left when leaving the elevator lobby.  There were nine floors.   The triptychs and diptychs are 52” in height.
